p>Sinopec is schemed to take over LPG wholesale business of its subsidiary refineries in South China, according to an informed source.
The oil giant has recently held a meeting with personnel from underlying refineries attended to discuss the issue and decided to make South China the pilot region, the source said.
Refineries involved include Guangzhou Petrochemical, Maoming Petrochemical, Dongxing Refinery and Hainan Refining & Chemical, the source introduced, adding Guangzhou Petrochemical would take the lead.
If everything goes smoothly, Sinopec would unify LPG wholesales of underlying refineries in the other regions in the future, the source furthered.
