p>South China imported 305,059mt of LPG in August, up 7% from the previous month, shows the data from the General Administration of Customs.
Local importers hiked LPG imports in view of remarkable import margins and low domestic supply amid refinery maintenance. In addition, the prices for imported LPG were expected to climb in September amid support from homemade resources, which also spurred August imports.
A shipping schedule indicates that about 303,000mt of imported LPG reached South China in August, quite close to GAC data.
