A depot source in the Pearl River Delta told C1 the depot did not receive LPG cargoes originally scheduled to arrive during Oct 16-17, new arrival dates of which were unknown. Hainan Refining & Chemical had 3-4 more cargoes postponed at the moment, according to the source.
Hainan Refining & Chemical may see LPG barge sale still affected by extreme weather in the coming 3-5 days as super typhoon Megi is expected to sweep through Hainan Province by the end of this week.

Hainan Refining & Chemical, located in southern China's island province of Hainan, is equipped with a topping capacity of 8-mil mt per year. It produces 1,600-1,700mt per day of LPG at present and provides most of the product to the Pearl River Delta by barge due to limited demand from the local market. The refinery usually supplies one barge daily.
