Petrochemical slashed its daily LPG output to about 800mt on Oct 22, down 27% from roughly 1,100mt on the previous day, according to market sources.

The refinery had started maintenance and it was likely to put the unit back into normal production in about one week, a source with the refinery said on Oct 22.

Based on one week of maintenance, the refinery will cut LPG output by about 2,100mt.

Partly thanks to lower output, Huabei Petrochemical raised LPG quote by Yuan 70/mt to Yuan 5,220/mt on Oct 22.

Located in Hebei Province in North China, Huabei Petrochemical has a topping capacity of 5-mil mt.
