At 10 a.m. May 25, the opening ceremony of registration point in Jinan airport for Taiwan compatriots officially held in International Accepting Hall of Jinan International Airport. Hereafter, Taiwan compatriots who come to Jinan can handle relevant registration procedures after arriving at Jinan.
It is learned that currently over 300 Taiwan compatriots are permanent residents in Jinan and there are over ten thousand Taiwan compatriots visit Jinan temporarily or stay for a short time every year. After establishing the registration point, Taiwan compatriots can enter Jinan directly and then handle relevant registration procedure only spending about ten minutes, which greatly shortens the time for them to visit Jinan.
