On June 2, in Xihua Qiangzi Street to the west of the FuxuewenTemple in the old downtown area of Jinan, workers were installing the channel-protecting stone that is 20cm high on both sides of the Furong (Lotus) Spring channel. Reportedly, the spring water, gushing out from the Furong Spring, flows into the Panchi Pond in the WenTemple. To avoid the logging and sewage water caused by rain flows into the spring channel, the channel-protecting stone is installed so that the Panchi Pond will not be polluted by rain. Photo/Wang Feng
