Recently, Shandong Cultural Heritage Working Conference was held in Jinan. According to the principal of Shandong Bureau of Cultural Heritage, the construction of Qufu area and State three archaeological parks will start this year, and will be formed in three years and completed in five years.
According to the Development of State Cultural Heritage Career during the 12th Five-year Plan , there are about 300 large-scale relics protection areas including Qufu area in our province. The construction of Qufu area and State three archaeological parks will start this year, which will play a leading and demonstration role. On March 16, Shandong government and State Bureau of Cultural Heritage jointly signed Cooperation Framework Agreement on Strengthening the Protection of Shandong Cultural Heritage and would establish working committee to jointly carry forward the construction. According to the principal of Shandong Bureau of Cultural Heritage, the direct revenue was up to four billion yuan created by the provincial cultural heritage last year and the output value of the tertiary industry up to 35 billion yuan, which showed the great drive force and influence of cultural heritage resources on the development of economic society.
