2010 Semicon International Solar Photovoltaic Conference kicks off

2010 Semicon International Solar Photovoltaic Conference kicks off on March 16. Mayor Li Anze, Deputy Director of CPC of Xinyu Committee of CPC, attended the conference and made a speech. Hu Gaoping, member of the standing committee of CPC of Xinyu Committee attended the conference.

Building on the success of the first SOLARCON China, SOLARCON China 2010 will focus on the latest market trends, advanced products, and comprehensive industry information for PV manufacturing. SOLARCON China 2010 covers 20,000 square meters of exhibiting space with more than 350 exhibitors. 40,000 domestic and international visitors are expected.

Building on the growing global partnership between SEMI and Intersolar, producer of the worlds largest solar trade fair, SOLARCON China will work together with Intersolar to bring more content and more international participation. In addition to organizing a pavilion of Europe PV companies, Intersolar will bring European PV buyers to attend SOLARCON China 2010.

Mayor Li Anze pointed that Xinyu enjoys the highest degree of industrialization, with its industry contributing,69 3 of GDP increase, and the industrialization rate 55.9 . 2 0f 3 hundred billion projects of Jiangxi Province successfully settled in Xinyu, including the hundred billion project mainly conducted by Xinyu Iron & Steel Co.Ltd. to extend the main business of iron and steel industry , a hundred billion RMB and the other project mainly conducted by LDK Solar to expand the main business of photovoltaic industry to a hundred billion RMB. Industry will be a good support for Xinyu to develop in a fast but steady way. Xinyu Iron & Steel Co.Ltd.,ranked 57th among the world s iron and steel corporations, is the national largest production base of ferroalloy, and also the first single enterprise which made its sales revenue over lo billion RMB. The 3-million ton sheet metal with an investment of 15 billion RMB will improve its sales revenue t0 40 50 billion RMB after production. LDK Solar Co.Ltd., the largest production base of solar silicon cells in the world, successfully listed on NYSE (New York Stock Exchange) on June 4, 2007, with its IPO financing 0.469 billion US dollars.
