December 9, People's Daily Online - A prehistoric archeological site with an area of about 600 square meters has been under excavation in Jing'an County, China's Jiangxi Province since October 2009. More than 1,000 cultural relics have been unearthed.
On Dec. 3, 2010, a cobbled road 4 meters in length and 90 centimeters wide was found at the archeological site. The road paved with cobblestones dates back to prehistoric times. Evidence shows that it is the earliest road in Jiangxi.
