The first Xiangyu International Xiang an Hiking Competition will take place on October 19. The two-day event is organized by Xiang an District, the National Olympic Sports Center and Xiamen Daily. The competition will include more than 6,000 participants racing at distances of five kilometers, 10 kilometers and 100 kilometers.
The event is intended to showcase the wildlife and cultural heritage of Xiang an. The Xiamen Xiangyu Group is the title sponsor of the event. Pictured is the signing ceremony between Xiangyu and Xiamen Daily. From http://www.common-talk.com/
