A brand new ticket hall and waiting hall in Hefei Railway Station will be ready to accept passengers at the peak time during "Chunyun"-transportation during the Spring Festival.
The new waiting hall is due to open on January 28th, occupies 9,456 m2 and can hold 19.000 passengers. It looks brighter than the old hall thanks to the glass curtain walls and the lighting ceilings. In addition, the new ticket hall is divided into two floors with 25 wickets on each floor. The station has prepared another 40 temporary wickets for the convenience of passengers.
