Uncovered porcelain house
Over 120 ancient tombs and nearly 900 artifacts have been discovered recently during the construction of Sun Yat-sen University Tumor Hospital on Xianlie Nan Lu.
The artifacts were spread over 8,000 square meters and include china, pottery, copper, iron, pencil stone and jade dating back to the Western and Eastern Han Dynasty, the Sui Dynastry and the Tang Dynasty, some of which are believed to be the most exquisite products found so far in Guangzhou.
Archaeological site
Most of the findings are in good condition and according to Yi Xibing, an expert from GZ Institute of Archaeology, the site is very likely to be a treasured Fengshui site.
