The Water Tourism Development Summit was held in Anqing, Sep.7 According to the agreement signed at the summit, as part of the water tourism area, Anqing will take part in the building of the water accessible tourism area on the Yangtze River.
The water accessible tourism project headed by Shanghai will take advantages of the Yangtze River. As the only deep water port of Anhui Province, Anqing port has abundant water resources. Meanwhile there are over 100 tourism projects with an investment of more than 10 billion yuan are under construction in Anqing City, which is striving to build it as an advanced tourism site.
