Lishui Celebrated the 101st Anniversary of International Working Women s Day

Yesterday, women representatives from various walks of life of Lishui city gathered together merrily at City Sports Center to celebrate the 101st anniversary of International Working Women s Day.

At the rally, women collectives and individuals were awarded honorary titles like National Model Site of Women s Fitness Exercises, Zhejiang Provincial March 8th Red-banner Pace-setter, Zhejiang Provincial March 8th Red-banner Collective, Zhejiang Provincial Women Pace Setter, The 7th Civilized Family of Zhejiang Province, The 7th Learning-oriented Family of Zhejiang Province, and Zhejiang Provincial Green Family.

After the celebration, Lishui Municipal Women s Federation and Lishui Municipal Sports Bureau jointly organized a fun sports games of women, which included individual events like one-minute basketball shooting, beanbag throwing, shuttlecock kicking and darting, and group events like rope skipping, hula hooping, and snowball rolling. Over 2000 women players constituted 13 phalanxes and 90 teams, participating in the grand comprehensive games. They were from municipal government departments and their subordinate institutions falling with 11 sectors.
