Chinese enterprises continue to operate at a rapid pace

In the third quarter of this year, Chinese enterprises continued to operate at a rapid pace. All industries have seen progress, more or less; while the larger enterprises are still at an advantage.
A survey of 19,500 enterprises by the National Statistics Bureau shows that the total index of prosperity for all enterprises are 144.7 8 points higher than the same period last year.
The survey also shows that the wholesale and retails sectors of the computer service and software industry are both operating at high speeds; and have aprosperity index of 160 and 154.7 respectively - a record high.
Share-holding companies are also operating successfully with a prosperity index of 156.7.
Meanwhile, large enterprises still have the advantage with a
prosperity index of 167.4, much higher than that of the medium
or small enterprises with a prosperity index of 131.1 and 120.8 respectively.
In addition to good overall operations, state pilot projects, state key enterprises and listed companies are all still in good operation.
