It is learned from Yiwu Office of Jinhua Customs that after the good start in January this year, the export amount of Yiwu small commodities has been enlarged again day after day since March. Up to March 26, the number of export bills of the month for Yiwu small commodities as well as the number of containers have respectively reached up to 22098 and 40605 (TEUs), increased by 12.5% and 6.8% respectively as compared with the same period last year, which has set a fresh record of export this year. Especially when the European and American markets are shrinking, the export of Yiwu small commodities to Middle East and Africa, by contrast, is growing strongly. Despite a general decline in international shipping prices, the international courses to Middle East for the export of Yiwu small commodities become very busy currently.
