According to Hangzhou Meteorological Bureau, the rain from 13:00 to 16:00 yesterday afternoon came in a menacing manner. The rainfall in the north of downtown Hangzhou such as Xiasha, Yuhang reached 30mm just within a very short period of time. Till the time when the news is at press, it is still raining heavily in Chun an, Jiande of Hangzhou District.
The fact that the north of Zhejiang was hit by rainstorm indicated that the rain belt was moving north. It was learned from Zhejiang Meteorological Bureau that the middle and southern parts of Zhejiang were still the worst-hit areas . Anfu Village in Longquan Town became the area that had the highest rainfall during the third round of heavy rain. From 8 a.m. to 16 p.m., the local rainfall had reached 39.2mm. Longquan Meteorological Bureau had activated the yellow warning against rainstorm.
