The Headquarters of Flood and Drought Prevention issued a notice yesterday, requesting all levels to closely track the developments of typhoon and timely deploy typhoon fighting. Relevant departments should give prominence to the key point, and require fishing and transport boats to return back to harbors. All levels should tangibly inspect and monitor reservoirs, gates, and key embankments, and strengthen prevention work on mountain flood, hill slide, and mudslide in mid and lower stream. Media and telecommunication departments should timely publish and broadcast typhoon news to increase typhoon prevention capacity of the masses.
