Yesterday, the nation's largest fireworks display light up the skies over the Jing River in Shaoxing. Thousands of spectators watched as the display started, celebrating the 2500th birthday for their hometown.
90,000 fireworks were light to the sky in the main area, Ten-mile Lotus Pool Yulie Garden, Jing Lake New Zone, starting at 8 p.m. At the same time, 51,000 fireworks rushed to the sky in the vice area, Keqiao.
