Yesterday, the 7th Shanghai Book Fair kicked off. Approximately 470 Chinese publishers gather in Shanghai, sharing the pleasure of buying and reading books with readers. At the fair featuring the theme of Love reading, love life hand in hand with the Expo , our province not only places nearly 5,000 publications on exhibition but also unfolds a time-honored historical civilization.
The fair will last for 7 days, with more than 150,000 books open to readers. There will be interactions with the World Expo and over 400 cultural activities. Over 100 writers, including Mo Yan, Wang Anyi, Mai Jia and Liu Xinwu, will attend a series of theme activities.
