According to the latest hydrological observation record of tides, the tide of the third day of the seventh month of the lunar year was up to 1.8 meters while that of last lunar year's same day was 1.4 meters. If there are no special factors of wind and precipitation, the Qiantang River tide on the 18th day of the eighth lunar month will be the largest tide in the recent 8 years.
