On the afternoon of Sept.6, the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress held the first public hearing in which 16 enthusiastic people from all around Zhejiang Province offered advice and made suggestions to the persons in charge of related departments of Zhejiang Provincial People s Congress and Zhejiang Provincial Government on the difficult and hot issues of road transportation and safe law enforcement.
The related responsible person of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress expressed his view that the public hearing was not only a platform offered to people to participate in politics, but also a form to expand the width and depth of law enforcement examination of the People's Congress. The opinions of the masses from this public hearing will be turned into a report and will be submitted to deliberation of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress.
