On September 28, the first weekly in English in our province Zhejiang Weekly was officially issued. This weekly was co-founded by China Daily Group and Zhejiang Daily Group, and undertaken by Qianjiang Evening News. The publication of Zhejiang Weekly was a significant first step in the strategic cooperation between the two Groups.
Zhejiang Weekly is a good effort of a professional team. This English weekly, which focuses on Zhejiang but also lays eyes on international affairs, will give timely and full coverage of the social, economic, and cultural developments, news of Zhejiang businessmen, and the local conditions and customs of Zhejiang so as to make the world know more about Zhejiang.
Zhejiang Weekly will adopt the policy of directed distribution. Through Qianjiang Evening News distribution channels, the newspapers will be delivered to those foreigners who live, travel or work in Zhejiang and those elites who work in foreign-funded enterprises as well as English learners and lovers.
