On September 24, Xia Baolong, Vice-secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of CPC, met in Hangzhou with the Hong Kong financial delegation led by Chen Youqing, Vice-chairman of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, President of China Federation of Overseas Chinese Enterprises, and President of Hong Kong Inter-bank Society.
Xia Baolong offered a friendly welcome to the visit of the delegation, and introduced to them the economic and social development and the financial reform in Zhejiang Province. He said that Hong Kong, as a global financial center, boasts advanced experience that we can learn from in the innovative development of financial industry. He also expressed hopes that the delegation learns further about Zhejiang with the visit, and provides guidance and help for the development of financial industry in Zhejiang. In addition, he sincerely welcomed the delegation to make investments in Zhejiang, which is expected to facilitate reciprocal co-operations and development.
Chen Youqing acknowledged the reception of our province, and expressed admiration for the achievements made by Zhejiang, and willingness to further the friendship and make joint efforts with our province to promote the economic and social development of both parties.
