The signing ceremony of Zhejiang-Schleswig-Holstein(Germany) economic trade cooperation was held on the morning of Oct.12. Peter Harry Carstensen, Governor of Schleswig-Holstein and Gong Zheng, Vice-Governor of Zhejiang Province attended the meeting.
At the signing ceremony, Business Development and Technology Transfer of Schleswig-Holstein and Zhejiang International Investment Service Center signed official cooperation agreements. Both sides have also signed cooperation projects in marine economy and new energy, including the development of 5MW offshore wind turbine under the efforts of Aerodyn Energiesysteme GmbH and Zhejiang Windey Co.,Ltd.
Schleswig-Holstein is located close to Hamburger, the second largest sea port in Europe, a superior and convenient location. It plays a leading role in such fields as clean energy, medicine, electronics, biotechnology, etc. Since the establishment of friendly relationship between Zhejiang and Schleswig-Holstein in 1986, both sides have been deepening cooperation in economy, education, scientific research and culture.
