Lv Zushan, Vice-secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Governor of Zhejiang Province, met with the Japanese delegation led by Heita Kawakatsu, Magistrate of Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan on October 12.
Lv Zushan said that since the establishment of friendly relationship between Zhejiang and Shizuoka in 1982, both sides had developed exchanges and cooperation in politics, trade, technology, culture, etc., and he expressed his wish for further deepening understanding and cooperation.
Heita Kawakatsu proposed a visit plan of organizing 3,776 people from Shizuoka Prefecture to come on a tour in Zhejiang during his visit to our province last year. In May this year, the first delegation led by Heita Kawakatsu paid a visit to Zhejiang, and now comes the ending of the visit plan. Both sides will sign agreements in environmental protection, disaster prevention, emergency treatment, etc.
