To cultivate a competitive industrial cluster, a innovative mechanism based on technology development, brand operation and creative industry, together with a service system of specialized market, logistics warehousing and public platform will be constructed.It was reported that Jiaxing will mainly develop 20 key industrial clusters, including new chemical materials of in Jiaxing Port Area, solar photovoltaic industry cluster in Jiashan County, knitting industry cluster in Puyuan, Tongxiang.
Jiaxing will achieve the goal, by 2015, to establish 2 industry clusters with the total annual sale revenue over 50 billion yuan respectively, 3 industry clusters with the total annual sale revenue between 40 and 50 billion yuan, 4 industry clusters with the total annual sale revenue between 30 and 40 billion yuan, 5 industry clusters with the total annual sale revenue between 20 and 30 billion yuan and 6 industry clusters with the total annual sale revenue between 10 and 20 billion yuan.
At the same time, in the coming five years, Jiaxing will upgrade the competitive industries and cultivate emerging industries. Jiaxing will attach great importance to the change from labor intensive ones to technology intensive ones, from minimally processed to maximally processed. In addition, great effort will be taken to enhance attracting investment and emerging industries. It is expected that, by 2015, 13 competitive industry clusters with total annual sale revenue more than 10 billion yuan and 7 emerging industry clusters will be established.
