Make overall plan for urban and rural constructions to boost scientific development

On the morning of January 5th, led by Luo Zhijun, Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, a delegation came to Jiangyin for inspection. They visited Huaxi Village, Shanquan Village of Zhouzhuang Town and Jiangyin Envision of New Harbor City. Provincial leader of Jiangsu Li Yunfeng, city leaders of Wuxi Yang Weize and Mao Xiaoping, and city leaders of Jiangyin Zhu Minyang, Wang Xinan, Zhao Guoquan and Xue Liang also attended the inspection.

Luo Zhijun came to Huaxi Village first and visited former Secretary Wu Renbao and other leaders of Huaxi Village. Wu spoke highly of the achievements Huaxi Village had made in the past few years. He pointed out that with the support of all previous Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Jiangsu Provincial Government, Huaxi Village had persisted in keeping pace with the times and blazing new trails in pioneering spirit. As a result, Huaxi Village had made great breakthroughs in its economy and other aspects, setting a good example of new countryside construction to other places in China. All the villages of Jiangsu needed to learn from Huaxi Village and to carry forward the brilliant spirit and experience of Wu Renbao.

Luo Zhijun visited Jiangyin Envision in New Harbor City afterwards. Luo said that in the process of transformational development, Envision needed to treat innovation as its core power and realize its industrial upgrading depending on talents and scientific innovation.
