City leaders of Jiangyin paid a visit to Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery

On March 31st, 800 city leaders of Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee, Jiangyin Municipal Party Government and Jiangyin Municipal Committee under CPPCC, including those retired leaders, paid a visit to Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery with an unparalleled reverence. They will strive to promote the construction of "Happy Jiangyin" and the realization of basic modernization with a strong sense of historical mission and responsibility.

At 9:00 a.m., the sweeping ceremony was started with the sound of national anthem of the People's Republic of China. Zhu Minyang, Secretary of Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee, offered the flower basket to the martyr monument and delivered memorial words.

Zhu Minyang said that all the city leaders need to inherit the spirit of martyrs and vigorously promote Jiangyin s spirit to boost the scientific, leading and transformational development of Jiangyin, themed as "promote scientific development, build 'Happy Jiangyin'". Wang Xinan, Mayor of Jiangyin, hosted the sweeping ceremony. City leaders of Jiangyin Zhao Guoquan, Sun Xiaohu, Xu Dongqing and Sun Ying attended the ceremony.

Xie Jianjun, one of the leaders, said that as an office worker, we should strengthen our sense of responsibility and mission to perform our duties conscientiously and make more contributions to the sound and fast development of Jiangyin, as well as the construction of "Happy Jiangyin", according to the requirement of "the Party that is built for public interests and exercises governance for the people".
