Neo-concept Group located its manufacturing base in Banfu Town recently. The base is different with other comprised of all green buildings and thus making itself the first green textile manufacturing base in China. The Neo-concept base is embodying a concern for environment and human no matter and the epitome of those green buildings occurring in Zhongshan in recent years.
Starting from 2005, Zhongshan began its journey to promote green buldings. Quite a few branded real estate developers joined in the effort and as a result energy-efficient buildings were emerging in multitude, such as the 3-phase project of Shunjing Xinyiju (the First Energy-saving Living Complex in Guangdong Province), Yihe Shanzhuang (National Model Well-off Residence Community) and Wanke City View (Model Green Residence Community).
Buildings in Zhongshan have to meet the compulsory standards of energy-saving in their planning phase but it is still difficult to promote the implemention in practice because of the large investment and long time to pay off.
