BRUSSELS, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with three Euro Group leaders here Tuesday, discussing the exchange rate issue.
"Since time is limited, let's directly go to the topic of the exchange rate," Wen said during the meeting with the Euro Group troika, which includes Euro Group President and Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker, European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet and EU Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Olli Rehn.
The premier said the specially-arranged meeting is important for China-EU relations.
