Early this year, Forte specified development strategies for next ten years, which was advancing investment and development business side by side and achieving higher growth under proper risk management, by analyzing property sector s characteristics, industry development trend and relying on the advantages of self-sufficient resource.
Fan Wei, Chairman of Shanghai Forte, indicated that it was too risky to focus solely on development business in an environment which has frequent government regulations and market fluctuations. In order to achieve better and consistent growth with proper risk management, Forte decided to promote real estate investment business and establish Forte Capital.
Currently Forte Capital s organizational structure and staff constitution have been formed. This suggested that Forte would continue its development business while Forte Capital focusing on real estate investment opportunities, connecting high quality capitals from multi-channels, seeking higher returns with risk management and maximizing shareholders returns.
Zhang Hua, president of Shanghai Forte said, Forte Capital would implement PIA strategies, which were Private Equity, Investment and Asset management based growth strategies, and with first tier cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and three major economic areas as main investment areas, sticking to residential investment, properly participating high-quality office, commercial and theme real estate arenas.
In the next 10 years, Forte will strive to become a top tier world class real estate development & investment group. Forte Capital will be expected to contribute 40% profit of the group by year 2019.
