From June 9 to 16, 436 Sudanese city bus drivers were trained by Yutong staff at University of Khartoum Police Officers and they completed the training course successfully.
All these drivers are newly hired by the Public Transport Company of Sudanese government and they will drive Yutong buses after the training. Yutong divided the drivers into 8 groups and conducted theoretical and practical training on them one after another.
In the theoretical training, the after-sales service trainers from Yutong explained in detail the driving skills and vehicle maintenance knowledge to the drivers. The drivers listened very carefully, made notes and also raised questions from time to time, creating a very active learning atmosphere. In the practical training, the trainers mainly elaborated and demonstrated some new products and new technology of Yutong, i.e. turn-off switch, foot control switch of retarder, electronic destination board, air-conditioner panel, etc., ensuring that every trainee can operate them properly.
During the course, the journalists from television station of Khartoum State came to the scene two times and reported the issue in their news program, setting a reliable service image of Yutong in local areas.
Through the training, the Sudanese drivers have had a deep and comprehensive understanding of Yutong vehicles. The proper operation and use of Yutong vehicles will no doubt enhance the operating rate.
