Great progress on new product developing

Innovation is the important assurance to keep competitive advantages and core capability of existence and healthy development for a company. Our company has set up research and development direction for new products on energy technology, ocean engineering technology, energy conservation, pollution reduction and environment protection.

In 2009, there are 30 key new products research subjects. At the same time, CFHI actively integrates company s research group by assigning vice chief engineers as pacesetter to build a project team consists of design& research institute, marketing department and quality assurance department. The backbone of company s research and development units Dalian design& research institute has set seven professional new products research and development labs.

In the several months since the subjects have been set up, all the offices which undertake the key subjects spare no efforts to take scientific and rigorous attitude to promote the subjects. Recently great progress has been achieved in some key subjects. For example, on tunnel building machine, setting up a joint venture has realized the integrating of technology, manufacturing and market systematically, which made a solid foundation for further research.

Desalination subject has finished technological process design evaluation, and will carry out equipment technological design work. Self-designed excavator has finished mechanical and electric shop drawing design. Design work has been finished nearly 80%. Technologies of Double handle, AC-DC-AC variable frequency are self-researched by our company.

For nuclear steam generator subject, subject office is focusing on scientific research, certification and accreditation as well as testing work.

Furthermore, our company takes the opportunity of expanding domestic demand policy, actively participate in national major scientific and technological research subjects so as to try for national industrial policy s inclination and enhance company s position and reputation. Recently, the number of our company s national key projects is 13items, in which taking the lead in 6items, participating in 7 items.

The national research project are mainly national scientific and technology support plan, national nuclear electricity key projects, advanced NC machine and cooperation project between ministry of Scientific and Technology and Russia. These projects are forwarding steadily.

In the first half of the year, our company has made many scientific and technological achievements and obtained 4 prizes in national, industrial, provincial and municipal scientific and technological awards. key technology s self innovation and engineering application of 2150mm broad hot strip mill has got the second national prize for progress in science and technology.
