As CFHI carries on all the domestic ameliorated type 2-generation nuclear power plants and 3-generation nuclear forgings, Wang Baozhong started to lead the develop team to explore the tough path.

In 2008, after the course of twist and turns and by taking the practical measures, CFHI solved series of problems in forgings smelt, forging, heat treatment, manufacturing and so on so that guarantee the task project to be pushed forward continuously.

At present, among these two kinds forgings involved in the project in charge of Wang Baozhong, all the forging manufacturing technical difficulties have been overcome on 2-generation pressure vessels and evaporators represented by Hongyan River nuclear power forgings and the batch producing stage reached. All the problems of developing 3-generation nuclear pressure vessel forgings have been tackled which is represented by AP1000 and the patch production realized. Besides the tube sheet and closure head, other forgings of the 3-generation evaporator can be produced in batch. Meanwhile, pipelines and integrated forged low voltage rotors have achieved breakthrough progress.
