Cadres Conference required This Year s

On November 2, 2009, CFHI held a cadre conference for recognizing the current situation and the target, building up the firm confidence and clarifying the key points of working. The board chairman of CFHI, Mr. Wu Shengfu, required all the cadres and the staff members should be confident, overcome difficulties, make great efforts above average and take every possible measure to accomplish this year s production value target of 12billion yuan as well as be prepared for next year s work.

The masses of the staff members, especially the cadres must push CFHI into a new developing stage with the spiritual outlook of fearing no hardship and striving for success. Mr. Zhao Lixin, CFHI s Party Committee Secretary, presided over the conference and he put forward four requests for fulfilling the meeting s spirits.

At first, Mr. Wu Shengfu summed up CFHI s main job within the first 10 months this year. He pointed out that with the hard working of the whole staff members and cadres, CFHI has accomplished the production value of 9.23 billion yuan which is 77% of the planned annual amount, the production yield of 162.

In scientific research, nuclear castings and forgings have made a big progress, the delivery of all the 3-generation AP1000 type of reactor nuclear forgings have already been finished except some individual parts. CPR1000 reactor also has made great progress. In technical improvement, the financing for the international first-class casting and forging steel base in Fularji and Dalian nuclear island one-loop construction project has already finished and these projects have been going on in proper sequence.

The casting and forging steel base entered its last stage; however, some of the projects are developing not so rapid. With the great efforts by all sides of CFHI and relevant departments, the progress of going into public is generally satisfying. Some certain of achievements have been made in products quality and safety environmental protection fields but there are still some deficiencies to be solved with efforts.
