Led by Dr. Iurii Seniuk,Head of Board, Business Partnership Association Kyiv-Beijing , a 16-member Ukraine Business Delegation visited Invest Beijing International on May 22, 2006. It is the first event between Business Partnership Association Kyiv-Beijing and Invest Beijing International since signing the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between two parties in 2005.
Mr. Tu Xingjian, Chairman of Invest Beijing International, Mr. Han Litao, and Deputy General Manager, received the Ukraine delegates. Then both parties had a cordial and constructive communication and conversation on bilateral investment, communication between enterprises from both sides, information exchange, etc. Ms. Huang Linzhi, Director of Division of Foreign Capital Utilization, Beijing Municipal Commission of Development & Reform attended the meeting, and delivered a briefing on foreign investment circumstances in Beijing and policy and regulations on outward investment.
Dr. Iurii Seniuk then made a brief introduction on investment climate, relevant preferential policies, local market demand and points for attention related to investment.
After communication and negotiation, both parties reached an conclusion as follows:
1. To implement trade and investment cooperation between enterprises from both sides through information exchange, organizing events such as trade fairs, seminar, promotional conferences and business negotiations, etc. whereas to enhance mutual cooperation among other regions of both countries.
2. To promote exchange and cooperation among banks and other financial organizations, in order to offer credit and financial services for trade and investment of enterprises from both countries.
3. Each party shall offer its necessary assistance to the visiting delegation organized by other party, like relevant interview and business events.
4. Through the platform of Invest Beijing International, Business Partnership Association Kyiv-Beijing will introduce the Olympic Economy Opportunities of Beijing to Ukraine, in order to draw attention of Ukraine investors.
