China became number one globally in export sales of mechanical and electrical products with 933 billion U.S. dollars in 2010.
The ministry of commerce figures show that, in 2010, the export of electromechanical products made up about 60 percent of China' s export trade and remained first in a variety of export goods over 16 consecutive years.
The competitive advantage of high technology added value products, such as cars, boats and aircraft, have become the new growth sectors in exports.
