Invited by our State Councilor Liu Yandong, SUNY Students delegation visited Southwest University of Science and Technology (SWUST). Vice president of SWUST Prof. Dong Faqin hosted the welcome ceremony. SWUST students, who have studied in SUNY attended the welcome ceremony.
SUNY students enjoyed kinds of activities organized by SWUST, such as campus tour, Chinese culture lecture, Chinese language class, and traditional Chinese art performance. They visited the science center of SWUST, School of Foreign Language and Culture, Art School and the site of 5.12 earth quake 2008 in Beichuan county.
The students from SUNY like SWUST very much, making friends with students in SWUST, and they are willing to bring their deep impression as well as friendship of SWUST back to SUNY.
