The 2009 SMU Sports Meeting Held

On November 25th, SMU held its 2009 Sports Competition. Prof. Yu Shicheng, President of SMU announced the commencement of the competition.
The sports meeting involve 498 student athletes for 19 individual and 3 group programs. SMU staff also took part in the competition enthusiastically, totaling 1600 staff for 29 events. The sports competition is a gala to demonstrate the upbeat spirits and solidarity of SMU students and staff. Apart from developing sports, the competition flourishes the cultural life of the students and the staff, enhances the solidarity and friendship between students and teachers as well as between departments and shapes mental and physical health.
