ICFDM 2010 Held in Changsha

On July 18, the 2010 International Conference on Frontiers of Design and Manufacturing Sciences (ICFDM) themed with "sustainable development of mechanical science and manufacturing engineering" was grandly unveiled in Changsha. 900 people participated in this conference including domestic and overseas scientists, renowned scholars, young PhDs and prestigious entrepreneurs. Guo Kailang, vice governor of Hunan Province, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Jointly organized by Hunan University, Central South University and National University of Defense Technology, the three-day conference presents more than 160 wonderful academic lectures such as theme speeches, invitation speeches, key and outstanding youth fund reports, excellent general fund reports and presentations of excellent papers. In addition, prize awarding activities and exhibitions on Hunan's sci-tech achievements are carried out during the meeting.

It's believed that this conference will be of great significance to pool outstanding talents from home and abroad and to enhance the comprehensive international influence of the province in sectors of science and technology, culture, talent cultivation and higher education.
