Eurasian Fashion Week (EFW) is one of the most important events in the world of russian fashion. According to the international fashion- calendar two times a year EFW gathers the best representatives of the fashion industry – foreign and russian designers, buyers, representatives of glossy and professional mass-media, producers of fashionable events.
Besides the rich programme consisting of demonstration of collections, events directed towards building up the most effective communications between journalists, buyers and designers take place in the context of EFW, such as- show-room of collections, round tables, and trainings for buyers and designers, press-conferences and briefings.
The organizer Ekaterinburg is officialy confirmed as the seat for the SCO (the Shanghai cooperation organization) summit of 2009 with the EFW included in the official programme of the summit. EFW is the largest fashion-event held within the Shanghai cooperation organization in Russia.
The event is supported by the Ministry of trade, nutrition and services and the Governor of Sverdlovk region, Russia, Eduard Rossel.
The EFW fall-winter 09/10 season will take place in April.
