India : International Textile and Apparel Congress 2007 in Hong Kong

The 5th ITAC 2007, themed ‘Consolidation and Collaboration - the Way Ahead’ opened in Hong Hong, today.
Creme-de-la-creme of the apparel and textile industry are participating in this prestigious event, which will see more than 250 CEOs in attendance.
Speaking exclusively over phone to Fibre2fashion.com, Prashant Agarwal, Associate Vice President, Technopak, the event organizer, said, "About 50 percent of the participants are from Hong Kong; 25 percent from India with those from Mauritius in good measure. We also have industry representatatives from Pakistan, UK, USA and of course China, here."

ITAC (International Textile and Apparel Congress), established in 2003 by Technopak, is a widely respected and well attended forum for the textile & apparel industry globally.
Organized annually, it is a congregation of industry leaders from across the globe, entrepreneurs from the Indian sub continent and South East Asian Countries, professionals from the entire supply chain, and top financial institutions, some of whom share their views and perspectives as speakers in the forum.
Day 0 of the International Textile and Apparel Congress 2007 (Wednesday, 18th April 2007) will have workshops on interesting topics related to management and business development issues.
