Sources from Finance Ministry revealed that investigative reports of the Ministry of Economic Affairs showed that import from China is creating problems for domestic shoe manufacturers.
With effect from March 16, the Government of Taiwan has decided to impose interim anti-dumping tariffs on shoes and boots imported from mainland China.
Thus the Chinese shoe producers will face an anti-dumping tariff of 43.46 percent for up to four months.
