Until Jan.4, the average price of cotton with general quality is 49.67cents/pound, lower than last week. The highest price in Jan.8 keeps at 50.06cents while the lowest one 49.31 cents.
Until Jan.11,instead of 21980 bulks of cotton , the bargained cotton reached 47.719bulks.
The statistic from US Agricultural Ministry shows that the average world price will be kept at 44.25cents during Jan.12-18, 2007. The payment rate of land cotton is 7.75cents while the one of ELS is 1.39cents.
