According to Peru Central Bank s report, textile export in October reached a record of 142 million U.S. dollars. This number increased by 26 million U.S. dollars over the same period last year, an increase of 23%. The increase is primarily due to volume growth of export (19%), followed by the price increase (6%).
The Chairman of Peru Industry Association Apparel Commission Felipe James said, many factories have prepared very well, and the equipment utilization rate has reached 100%.
