U-S Federal Agriculture officials say the ongoing drought across Oklahoma will reduce this year's cotton and pecan crops by even more than expected.
The U-S Agriculture Department is now forecasting the cotton harvest to be 190-thousand bales and the pecan crop to be 14 (m) million pounds.
The projection for the cotton crop is 47 percent below last year's harvest while the pecan crop projection is 33 percent lower than last year's harvest of 21 (m) million pounds.
