During first nine months of 2006, footwear exports turnover of Thailand reached Baht 27.249 billion ($726 million) with slight increase of 1.84 percent than that of same period in 2005.
Among markets, exports to EU slightly improved, but suffered a year on year decline of 9.31 percent to US, worth Baht 8.058 billion ($226.7 million).
