Second half of this year proved a disaster for spinning industry as it has undergone a decline.
Monthly yarn production of both MMF and cotton yarns has seen 7.5 and 2.4 percent decrease in September and October respectively.
Experts relate this decline to country s crises in man-made fibre as MMF production went down by 17 percent in October, while earlier it was 21.8 and 13.5 in September and August respectively.
Though the export condition gives much competitiveness, manufacturers have managed to sustain fabric and apparel production.
Year-on-year cotton apparel export to the US was up 10.6 percent, however, recent times have witnessed decline.
Export during September was down 5 percent in terms of quantity.
As a result of 9.1 percent decline in cotton apparel exports, total textile and apparel exports came down by 4.7 percent in September.
