German Consumer Protection Association reported to the EU on November 1 that children swimwear originated in China for 0-2 years old existed of dangerous chemicals.
It was found that the raw material for swimming suit was PVC, and the plasticizer DEPH content exceeded over 14%. DEPH is a kind of phthalates, it has strong side effect on the human body, even very small dose can make children poisoned.
The German government had already banned the sale of the product in the local market, and required manufacturers and vendors to recall the sold products.
